BACK FROM HONGKONG!!

hk was fun but i'm happy to be back in Singapore. If you think it's hot here, it's worse than in summer. the heat is unbearable and the air so dry my face peeled. The air is so much cleaner here and the toilets too. You have no idea what clean toilets mean to me man..

Will split this into a few entries. Too much info..

Day 1. Arrived in hk. I love cathay pacific but i hate vanila haagen daaz. why didn't they give me chocolate chip or sth. :( but i love them anyway. First stop: YMCA-- ok.. ymca isn't as bad as u think. the singapore one is lousy but the hk ones are different. It's a hotel actually. So yes.. wasn't that bad even though it was the old wing. so the 5 of us (georgie yiyi, ernest, mindy, shawn & me) headed out after that. We walked down from Jordon(where YMCA was) to Tsim Sha Tsui to check out the other hotel we're going to stay at then we continued walking to the ferry terminal. It is quite damn very far. Then we took the old bumpy ferry to HK island.

The Avenue of Stars

Went to Central and visited H&M! WE LOVE H&M. bought lots of stuff from there later on. We went back at least thrice.
headed down to Soho and Mid levels. travelled on the longest escalator in the world. After which we headed to Lan Kway Fong-- famous drinking hole in HK. no drinking for us though.

Determined to try all forms of transport, we took a electric tram to Causeway bay.

Quite a fun and bumpy ride as well. met a crazy man who couldn't stop talking to Bob in cantonese and we all din speak cantonese well. and the tram driver also quite crazy, took a picture of shawn using his hp!! hilarious. so Day 1 was just walking around, browsing, walked past ladies market too. Exorbitant prices and fake goods. We were smart not to buy anything.

Had our first bowl of dun4 nai3. it's like milk pudding. And there are flavours. we tried nicer flavours later on. Coffee and Chocolate dun nai rocks!! remember. it has to be from Yee Shun Milk Company. ROCKS MY SOCKS!!

They are superb. the pudding is holding up our spoons.

ok.. one thing u should nv do is to overestimate your abilty to take coffee. cuz u'll end up not sleeping at all the night b4 ur flight and end up dying probably on ur trip.

So supper was funny as usual but the effect of that was me not sleeping. Hock lam gave me a stomach upset and the yuan yang at HK cafe totally kept me awake all night. The feeling of puking and crapping plus not being able to sleep that feeling away totally and absolutely SUCKS. If anyone needs something really strong, pls go take that.. it's POTENT!! on this raging high but tired mode.. ARH!!!

so anyway.. flying off in a few hours.. hopefully my stomach feels better. Don't try to contact me at my hp cuz i'm not using roaming. The gd thing of using a prepaid is that no one knows my number except those i gave it to. So DON'T ASK ME TO GET ANYTHING. cuz it's not happening. wahhaa.. i'm already hoping i wun overload.. so.. ciao people.. cheryl is going to shopping haven!!
