cheryl is famished. n her craving for western food has not gone away. and if she's going to stay up to watch a few more episodes of one tree hill, she's going to be really hungry. god... there isn't even cup noodles in the storeroom!went out with the braders last night and it dragged till like 2am with me holding in my pee for like almost 2 hours cuz i din wanna use the toilets at the coffeeshop. yes. it was punggol nasi lemak and i din eat that cuz i was full from cakes and nachos and pretzel dogs. but yes. it was fun catching up. jaz and i laughed till we cried cuz of yong and his job as a model for nyp. it was hilarious. n ngak and his silly face cuz he can't seem to really laugh unlike the crazy 2 of us. n long can laugh like mad and still eat at the same time.
so.. while we were there, we met some other people from our pri sch. it was really childish cuz they were staring at us and probably saying how elitist we are or whatever. so.. after they left ON THEIR BIKES, they were trying to show off by rev-ing their bikes like mad and creating a din. not impressive i must say, when the speed dun match the sound.
n to those who think acting is really fun, think again. tv especially takes forever. u wait n u wait n u wait and wait and u continue waiting. spent like 4 hours waiting just to get to shoot sth. but it's quite cool cuz they are more pro. when we do our filming we take forever to get the shot we want. at least i din have to do like a lot of takes.
so.. i'm off to taiwan in about 14 hours. till then.. i hope i'll find stuff to buy.

ok.. other than cooping myself at home, i have been cooping myself at home. yeap. i am so onto my third season of one tree hill and i figured out that i'll probably finish this b4 i fly to taiwan. speaking of which, i've purchased my moleskin funnel neck jacket, a cream woolen pullover with hood and 3 pairs of black opaque full length leggings of which i planned to make one of them into like 3/4 tights and another i may just dye it into some other colour or sth..so.. today is like officially the last day of hols i'll have in singapore or sth. shawn thinks we have to spend a bit more time with each other OUTSIDE instead of with each other facing one screen each with characters from one tree hill. we're going nuts really.. and all friends.. sorry i haven't seen any of u really this hols but it is not my fault that u did not ask me out earlier so i could plan u around my tv serials. ok.. i'm kidding ok. mabs u horrible toot, where the hell have u been? ASK ME OUT OR STH!
i feel so out of touch with the world outside. n i feel like a pig. munching on snacks all day, not working out at all (hard to since it's all so cold and wet and gloomy) and i'm positive my butt is flatter and bigger due to all the sitting in front of the comp sessions. i've lost my sparkles and cheeriness and whatever that was in me. the new cheryl is not a positive one.

december is a rather depressing month. lots of rain and no sun. the weather is keeping me at home after the desperate attempts to get a tan at sentosa. anyway.. we went tanning the next day and i got a tan despite the rain that came after. 30 mins under the sun was suffice to burn our faces. amazing.i finished watching one tree hill in 2 days. serial competition with shawn- to see who finishes the serial first. and cuz we din ration it, we are left with nothing to do again. waiting for season 2 to finish downloading..
shawn loves wintertime and cold places. i on the other hand prefer the warm and sunny islands with long white stretches of beaches and the deep blue sea plus beach houses and stuff. n seriously, it's troublesome to go to cold countries. i love to wear shorts and stuff. and that will be like 8 days in jeans and layers of clothings on top of my puny body to keep it warm. i vaguely remember wearing shorts in new zealand and i believe it's the same temperature as taiwan now. so anyway.. in order not to die of pneumonia, i gotta grab a number of stuff b4 i go off. n that includes.. mittens(in case my hands drop off), this woolen mini pullover thing, my funnel neck, leggings (which i dun need if i'm wearing my dunks but i still want them so i can wear it with my funny dresses) n i dunno what else..
it's the end of the yr already n i'm turning 21. 21 is supposed to be a big thing, i just want to get away from it. but reality catches up, no longer that young girl with dreams and aspirations and passion. i dunno what i've become. when u grow older u stop dreaming and nothing really matters except the paycheck u bring back to pay the bills and putting food on the table. wen asked me what i want for my 21st, i have no idea.
wrap me some dreams and hopes and smiles and tears and forgiveness and happiness and youth and love and friendship and seal it with a kiss. i just want to go back to being 14...

and so.. the smarties went to sentosa in hope of getting some afternoon sun to turn their pale complexion into the dark deep rich chocolate brown. Undeterred by the dark and ominous clouds..
they drove on..

then it started to pour down cats and dogs..

in the end.. the smarties decided to go get themselves sunglasses in hope that the sun will come out soon enough.. IT DIN. but they each got their early christmas gifts!

cheryl is back from bangkok. with a smaller load of stash she brought back this time round cuz somehow the things dun look as gd or perhaps she couldn't decide what she wants to look like for the next sem and hence that weird mix of stuff she bought..so.. i'm back. coughed my lungs out the whole trip and till this moment, i'm still coughing. shawn's mum warned me of developing pneunomia in taiwan cuz it's going to be cold. great. i dun wanna die so soon. so anyway.. we din camera whore alot. cuz it's so troublesome to shop and take pictures at the same time. n i can't be bothered to load everything here for viewing.

MK restaurant. suddenly all the service staff stopped and danced when this funny music was played. hilarious.
6 hours at chatuchak mkt. longest i've ever stayed there. sitting down on the floor with a plastic bag underneath and pouting. oh.. they sell endangered animals there! we saw star turtles and a baby alligator and of cuz the usual iguanas and stuff. gross.. we also had this wanton mee there which is quite gd. damn cheap too!
us at central. too lazy to walk, got chauffeured from one end to the other to meet gillian and joel.
christmas decorations at central. gingerbread man with a dick. and all sorts of kinky christmas pictures..
and of cuz.. lots of lingerie shopping. funny stuff we din manage to capture on film like.. shawn and joel feeling the bra pads (it has beads inside!! think of those bean bags..) and 2 different woman demostrating to me how to wear some funny bras IN FRONT of shawn. so shawn knows how to wear them too!
n we had this horrible thai meal at MBK. joel's noodles smell like crap and tasted like crap. SERIOUSLY. CRAP. and everything was either too salty or too sweet. we noticed that at every table, they will have this bottle of sugar. we saw people putting sugar in their wanton mees la! god..
n girls.. go do ur manicures there. it's freaking cheap. i did nail art for less than 10 bucks la. and it's not bad! a guy did it for me!!
so generally. it's a gd trip. great company. joel and gillian and really funny. eh.. thats about all. i'm going to continue watching my lost..

the bug is growing strong. and my throat is giving way. i've been drinking water like there's no tmr. and i have a stupid round pill stuck somewhere in my oesophagus (i dun think it's spelt correctly but heck) and i dun even feel like eating any of my favourite food. sucks huh.. n wonderful gab laughs at my favourite instant maggi porridge which is practically the only thing i can put down my throat now. whatever it is, instant porridge is the greatest invention. S-eriously.so.. i am perfectly fine with swallowing pills. i just can't swallow round ones. like those of the panadol size. it gets stuck. ALWAYS. like now. n i can't really cough it out cuz it'll be damn gross and it'll hurt even more. so i'm trying to will it to go down the right way. yesyes.. it's making its way down.
i want to get better. trip is sat and i'm not feeling much better. i hope it won't suck. sigh.. i want all that tomyam and the sweet spicy sour stuff, not to mention FRIED too. n i want to lose flabs at the appropriate places. i dun wanna lose wt. it's getting scary a little. so far the scale is tipping left. maybe i'm going to disappear..

so we went looking for presents yesterday.. seriously i think bishan may be the only place that carries that rayban my darl looks gd in. according to him, we need to look around more. and that brought us from bishan to town. 3rd time in a wk, 3 days in a row. but the mighty me was feeling the strain from my flu bug(which has yet to go away) which cut short our little trip.Swensens
shawn was holding on to my phone for darn long just to take these pictures of me. the bill took ages to come.. OH!!! and he got me this scarf from muji!! ok.. it's more like a muffler la.. i'm going to wear it in taiwan. along with my green funnel neck jacket if it arrives by then. hee.. i'm going to get it for present! :)) n i'm going to try to wear my muffler to sch one day when i feel like it!

GIRLS' NIGHT OUT!! gabriel is considered a girl in this case. so we had our dinner together finally.. and probably the longest time we've seen ET around in the entire sem. so lots of camera whoring in food republic, on the roads and at borders. and of cuz we made lots of noise.. not surprising cuz peiqi was there!! ahaha.. lots of bitching (pq is the info centre) and everyone contributed.FOOD REPUBLIC

being sick sucks. u stay in bed all day. u get sores and aches all over. ur head can't stop throbbing. ur throat feels like it's giving way. wannw sleep but u can't..it sucks.. i'm like a walking zombie now. too bad dear can't really read sign language. it's so hard to open my mouth just to speak. :( it doesn't help that the weather is so gloomy as well.i think i fell sick on 2 days ago. we went vivo city to take a look. seriously.. it's overhyped. there's hardly anything la.. for me, it's marina square or town anytime. but well.. i saw this red bag that i like- din get it. cuz i'm a perfectionist. unless it wows me over, i wun get it. so i shall look out for it again. and...... i found the sunglasses that i like a lot. i saw it the other time at white sands. and they dun have it elsewhere. and i saw it at vivo!! my Emporio Armani 9220/S in black!! probably will get it after my trip. i gotta decide. getting irene to see if i can get it at optics. hopefully mr low will give me gd discounts!! n dear found sth nice from rayban that day too.. 3224 004/13. maybe there's sth better for him. he's really picky..
and so.. we went out to buy instant porridge for dinner last night. mama cooked this fusion spagetti thingy which i couldn't possibly swallow. anyway.. instant porridge rocks ok.. hahaa.. it's ez to cook! and ez to eat! mine looked like rice paste or sth. went to get my trim as well. yes.. it's a spur of the moment thing. so i ended up at jean yip. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY OF SERVICE OF SALONS IN TOWN AND IN HEARTLANDS. and i'm saying that there SHOULDN'T BE a difference. u're paying the same price and u're getting difference service la. my scalp was almost torn apart by this guy who was washing my hair. and when he brushes it.. it's hell painful la. and i suppose the pain was heightened cuz i'm sick. but yah.. reds will nv give me this kinda crap service. so i guess i'll go back to keith. or maybe i'll find olsen at the ps jeanyip. at least he doesn't treat my hair like RUG! or i dunno.. a BEAR or sth.. but whatever it is.. i got the style i wanted. it's not really what i want but it's close. and i think it's not bad.
it's 10.13am and dear has not sms-ed me yet. he said sth about feeling sick last night. i think i passed the germs to him.. :(
